I really love using it and find it quite a useful tool for shortcuts, menus and the like. Hiya Sir Starkers, where you been lately, I miss you and your humour big time on site, come back pleeeaaase!! and thanks for your input on Winstep, But it runs like a hungry mad dog on my Vista system! My paltry 64mb on-board video is too weak and the results aren't very pretty. On a personal note, my XP box can't handle the graphical demands of the WinStep / NexStart interface. At the same time it is an entirely different navigational approach, with tons of configurations and tweaks that are easy enough and self explanatory. That along with understanding and integrating NexStart will have you and your system busy enough.Īnd while WS is a new experience, it's not overwhelming to learn to interface with immediately for someone who knows a bit about customization. Get a feel for it because the WS themes comes fully loaded including their own docks, widgets, walls, stats and a whole lot more. My suggestion is to try WinStep / NexStart together with nothing else running at first. However a word of caution, if you do try running WinStep with your current configuration of docks and tabs at the same time, you're going to have an extremely crowded desktop.
